Krištof Kintera

film, installation
collaboration: Richard Wiesner, Rastislav Juhás
for Collezione Maramotti

The film shows a world that can survive, even if no human being does. Kintera's futuristic vision shifts the borders of the imagined world beyond the end, even though we have become so used to assessing it according to the scale of our actions and intentions, and even to exercising power over one another, refering to this final horizon. The installation moves before the impassive eye of the suspended camera. Copper, silicon, plastic and drifting islands of intelligent electro-waste appear here as a new metaphysical perspective. The land of the probable future, in view of which we already have a chance to transform our self-image. Let us try to imagine ourselves beyond the centre of the universe.
